This time last year I had just been shortlisted for a Cosmopolitan Blog Award. Today I’m three weeks away from opening my first play in London as a lead role under my own company. Turns out this time of year is often an exciting one.

Opening Night
Incredible. Energetic. Overwhelming. My room smells like the most beautiful of florists thanks to my most beautiful family/boyfriend who did a brilliant job of making me cry with their sentiments from afar. Happy actor.

It’s one thing to get cast in a school production. It’s another thing entirely to get cast in a school production at an acting school in New York with an amazing professional team.
Suffice to say, I’m thrilled. My days have suddenly got a lot fuller but to be honest, I prefer that way. Less time to sit around thinking about doing things and more time made to actually do them.
