As I sit here eating the final Christmas tree chocolate before the imminent disposal of my favourite annual houseplant takes place it seems only fitting to look back over the last few festive weeks and smile/sigh my way through photographs that capture the essence of all things Christmas.
14 from 2014
Happy New Year’s Eve! In the spirit of all things reflection, here are 14 photos of some of my favourite moments from 2014.
Christmas, Cottages, Cats and Carols
Having left Stow we drove cross country under an iridescent sunset to rural Herefordshire which is where our friend Curtis lives with his partner Alex and adorable cat Molly. He had organised for Tom, Jenny and Toby and myself to go and celebrate an early Christmas at his (picture perfect) cottage complete with turkey dinner, our …
Stow On The Wold
In amongst the inevitable chaos that descends in the run up to Christmas there’s nothing quite like a long festive weekend travelling across the country to see friends and family. Christmas Adventures | The Tree
This first festive video from Adventures Of A Nice Girl features the journey of the undoubted star of the Christmas show- the tree.
Winter Wonderland

For as long as I can remember theatre has played a central role in my life. I like to think my year 5 teacher …
Wanderlust | Croatia
If there’s one activity I love regardless of the time of year it’s pouring over any kind of travel document; be it a blog, book, review site or magazine and dreaming of my next overseas adventure. Although it’s a good 7 months away (at least) I’ve already turned my mind to the next InterRailing trip …
Escape To The Countryside
The older I get the more I love Autumn. Perhaps it’s because after several (many) years the impending sense of back to school dread it used to bring has all but faded into a distant memory. No longer is the highlight of September a shiny new pencil case and pristine school uniform but more a …
